My work on this project included creating a logo for ARMFlow product recognition, developing a dialog info box using React, providing design suggestions for improving the user interface, and creating mockups and interactive prototypes.

The ARMFlow is a software application for processing and monitoring the data provided by atmospheric measurement instruments. The software application provides various options and functions for supporting data processing and assisting in identifying problems during the process. The ARMFlow user interface includes an actions menu, view mode, different filters, a timeline, various modes, and icons. The software application uses various icons to show different filters.

One of the design challenges was a color choice for different statuses for better accessibility and usability. To solve this problem, when adding new functionality to the software application, a color-blindness test was performed, and colors were adjusted as necessary. The user interface and software application functionality were discussed during weekly meetings. The picture shows a mockup of a starting point (home) of the application. The project is still ongoing, and the provided picture of the dashboard does not represent the finished product.

AdobeXD was used for a logo design. The logo reminds a ribbon in a form of a cloud. The data for the software application is provided by atmospheric measurement instruments, so using a cloud shape for the logo helps better product recognition. The logo has a simple yet organic design. The version of the logo without letters will be used as a favicon. Both versions of the logo were approved by stakeholders.
